Personally, two days isn't enough to see the horrors of what drunk driving can do to people. If she wasn't a celebrity she would be locked up and facing huge fines. Stars get off light when it comes to DUI's, speeding, reckless endangerment etc. They want to be treated like everyone else and left alone when they are out and about but they want special treatment when they get busted doing something wrong.

Looks like a very enriching punishment indeed, and I hope it really lives up it its punitive qualities!

I believe the hope is to make her see people who've been killed in drunk driving accidents. As I see it, if you drive drunk and might kill people, it is neither cruel or unusual for you to be shown the possible results of your lack of wisdom.

Some might call that cruel and unusual punishment! I think it would be a beneficial experience for some and terrible for others who could be severely effected mentally, but on ther hand it's supposed to be un-pleasant. What exactly has she done?
