What kind do you use on your butt?! lol Do you use the cheap kind that you need half a roll to wipe with ? Or do you use the nice expensive kind, that in the long run feels better on your butt and lasts longer too ? Any fights with your partner over what type of tissue to buy at the store ? MY hubby and i always used to fight over it when i used to by the groceries. I always got the cheaper stuff, cause i didn't see any difference, and now that he's buying the groceries he buys the good stuff, and WOW its much nicer!!

I buy good toilet paper. I use to buy Charmin many years ago and then my Mom started buying the Cottenelle and I was hooked. I buy the Cottonelle with ridges, they just make you feel cleaner.

I think what we get is charmin, its got the bears on it. I like the comercials, CHA CHA CHA. Maybe i will have to get him to try some cottenelle, I think they renamed it to something else here though.. lol the TP formally known as cottenelle *giggles*

I believe a lot of people keep wipe in the bathroom. Don't you think that is why they started marketing those flushable wipes to adults and then coming up with gadets to attach the wipes to existing toliet paper rolls?

Well cheap ones can be better than those expensive ones. Generally I go between, I don't spend to much because it's a waste just like with toilet paper. Normally supermarkets have a decent brand which is priced half of what those "known" ones go for. My mum uses "kleenex" or whatever they are, she goes through many of them and generally pays for the ones which are meant to have "good" things for you nose and skin. Personally they're soft but they don't do much for me. ~Joey

Yea its nice when its soft, but not so good when its so soft it rips! you dont want stinky fingers!! LOL. I also have a box of baby wipes in the bathroom now that i have a kid, just for those MESSY times when the TP isn't good enough!

I don't really care what kind of toilet paper I use as long as it is not scented. My husband on the other hand is picky. He says that the big one ply rolls feel like sandpaper and refuses to buy them.

My husband doesn't mind anything I buy. I will buy good quality tissues even though its price is higher. Anyway, this cost won't be a lot because we won't use tissues that much. And it's a necessary cost. As to cheap tissues, I am afraid it will make us uncomfortable.

men just dont understand they use it less the half then what we do. we use it on such a regular basis and we can tell the difference the cheaper the tissue the more flaky it is and irritating it is. i love Charmin. Its so expensive but lasts for a long time and dont have to use much and its flaky and feels so soft in those delicate areas.. you cant use rough toilet paper or sensitive places like your nose holes lol. my man wants to just by the dollar store toilet paper or even paper towel he dont care. my bare bottom feels nice and clean after the expensive stuff touches it

Since my husband does most of the shopping he doesn't buy the really cheap stuff, but he doesn't buy the really expensive stuff either. He does get the store brand name, but they have 2 different versions, one really cheap and the other, better made and just a few pennies more and that is what he gets..

LOL good discussion. We buy the Store brand at superstore and i find it good, not too cheap like some other brands but its not so expensive that you feel wrong about buying it just to wipe your butt! It is nice and thick and feels soft too...no complaints from anyone in my family...but the sobeys brand!!!UGH

Now that I am not working I buy the cheap kind, before when I was bringing home a nice salary I just picked up whatever I wanted. Now though money is a little tight most of the time so I get what we can afford. My husband doesnt really care what kind is there long as he finds some when he needs it,lol.I buy Red and White name brand and its not that bad,it definitely lasts longer and it feels ok on your butt too, lol.

I'm going to say...i buy the more expensive stuff but...i actually prefer something like baby wipes...they leave a much cleaner feeling. (maybe i'm just odd and a bit ocd but..thats how i feel!) There aren't any fights on what to buy because i'm the one that buys and i'm the only one to fight with for now. The cheaper stuff i have boughten when i'm totally broke but need some for "right away"

I always buy toilet rolls by its weigh I then will not spend half a roll to wipe with after the business. A pack with 10 rolls weighs heavier normally will cost more than the lighter pack. It is always worth to get the heavier one with dearer price and of good quality and quantity.

I guess the stuff I buy is cheap, but it does last longer than the expensive stuff that is all plush and quilty because the rolls are so much bigger. I buy scotts or marcal maybe when my daughter is older and learns to regulate the amount of tissue she uses per trip I will purchase the plusher stuff - then again, it might get so danged expensive I will begin to utilize cut up old t shirts instead.

For most of the groceries, my hubby likes to leave for me to make decisions and purchase. If one of the stuff doesn’t work or the quality isn’t good as it should be, he will tell me and discuss with me so that I will reconsider or avoid buying it again. Normally for the small thing, it is not worth arguing or fighting as there are more important things in the life to look forward to.

Well we use the not so cheap but not so expensive ones lol...the reason is that the one that cost more tend to be softer and better meaning that the cheap ones fall apart and you have to use a lot more and it also is not as soft as I want it to be...
