Anyone like me looking for the new season of Jericho and do you have any speculations as to who dropped the bombs? Was it terrorists determined to ruin America and another question is with fall out, how Jericho and the neighboring towns did not get any fall out while the other places did? Is there a scientific explanation or was this in someone's imagination? The only thing I can think of is there is a dome around the area and soon when the inhabitants hunt farther out, they will run into a force field.

well it will be back the 12th of Feb.
and looks to mme like the wind didnt get quite as far to Jerico as it did other places.
when the bombs dropped
as for who dropped them is any one guess and I beleive if they go further south and east that there will be towns never touched by it.
and I sort of think they bombs were dropped when they werent surpose too. also might have been the US as that colored dude knew something about it.

I do not think the U.s. dropped the bombs. I think it was some terrorists who infiltrated the states and fiddled with the defense, maybe a hostile nation believe the U.s. was going to drop a bomb on them, so they dropped the bomb on the States first.

I thought also that the enemy could have brought the bombs into the States, and set them off that way, maybe stolen some US. Airforce jets to make people believe it was a group of Americans the military wanting to take over, etc.

Sure. I like to watch that show every so often. I don't watch much television but I watch that show sometimes when I can. I really don't have any speculations because I don't watch it all of the time. I think there is a scientific explanation and also an input of imagination.

I think the fall out not hitting Jericho is the input of imagination.

We have all those tornados happening, and they bring in a lot of wind, so unless Jericho was covered by a protective dome, ala science fiction, it had to have been hit by radiation.

I think its just the way the wind is blowing that fallout wasn't a big concern for jericho residents. This season should be fast paced because of it only being 7 episodes. They have a lot of explaning to do and not a lot of time to do it. It should be very interesting

I think you are talking about Jericho in the Bible, the one that Joshua and all the Hebrews walked around and the priests blew horns until it fell.
I am talking about a Tv show called Jericho that was a town that for some reason was not destroyed in a nucluer holocaust that some enemies of the United States started.

I think there was an underground movement in the US that set off the bombs so they could take over the country but I have no idea why Jericho wasn't affected. It hasn't been on where I live since the second bomb went off and I would like to know what happened. It is different but I guess not many people liked it and that is why it was taken off so quickly.

They have a show called Return to Jericho I do not know what station it is in, but I do hope it is in the Space Channel here in Canada and Science Fiction Network. I do not think it is because people do not like it, I think that the idea of the States being attacked by anyone except space aliens is a bit unnerving, but I do think this second show is to show the Jerichoans getting rid of the bad guys and restoring civilization.

For some reason, the fall out did not affect Jericho like it did the other towns. It was like the whole town was protected.

I think another country dropped the bombs. It will be interesting to see what we learn this season. I think some towns were just lucky. It could be like some natural occurring events like an earthquake some houses on the same street don't get touched. The show is returning February 12th at 10:00pm on CBS for season 2.
Anyone reading these posts can catch up by going to CBS and watching season 1 online. Its a great show and hope lots of people watch it.

We cannot watch the show online in Canada, but my son can find a way to download anything. I liked the show, but my husband said that the part about them being protected against fall out does not make sense.

There is some ideas that there are a few places where fall out won't go because the air patterns go around them. There were several really BAD movies in the 50's about that idea - except for a town they pretty much only had a country manor type place.
Very forgetable except about how bad they were.

Yes I saw those very very bad movies of the 50s especially the part about fall out creating mutants and stuff like that. Jericho is supposed to be in the mid west, I do not know that State, but if there were strange wind patterns, then it would show on a map.
