I have a strong feeling that the time between engagement and marriage is considered the golden period in the couple's life. share your experience....

I have no experience on this. But love to know how it feels. why do we consider it a golden period?

its called the golden period of your life because both of you make dedicated efforts to show your best part, phone calls, candlelight dinner, movies, exploring all the beautiful and lonely places together, few kisses may be more, coffee and alot more... so you tend to enjoy each other company...

That has not been my experience at all. The exact opposite, actually. We've actually never done any of that at all, much less since we've been engaged, but since we've been engaged, we've fought harder and more than ever.

thats ok ... its a general saying and may not be true for everyone... but tell me now since you are married are you exploring all those possibilities that bring the two of you closer.

I don't really see how it's a "golden period". I don't really see it as being much different from any other part of the relationship, except that it might be harder due to all the planning stress and maybe adjusting to new arrangements. I've been engaged for a year and a half and I haven't seen anything "golden" about it.
