DOOOMS DAY 2012 whats your opinion?

Have you ever heard of the talk about Doomsday 2012? Well i managed to stumble over it the other day, and it was really really interesting. It was called Doomsday 2012 and it was from the History channel so i figured it should be legit, right? I do not have specific details about it but what i heard alearted me about this life we live. One major thing that grabbed my attention was the talk about the myan calender. The show explained how their callender that was amade waaaaaay before jesus is more accurate then our calenders right now; an their calender stopped at the year 2012. Well go to youtube and type that in theres two parts and i reccommend that everyone watches that. but if you are replying to my message whats your opinion? i would like to know.

Its very interesting how accurate the Mayan calendar has been (although somewhat general), although I think the end of their calendar will most likely mean it'll start back at day 1 year 1. Imagine an alien race finding a calendar of ours for 2008. They might surmise that December 31st is the end of our world, but little do they know we just buy a new calendar for the next year.
With that being said I will probably go to/throw a big party Dec. 12th, 2012 just in case...
