I would definitely like to pursue any available freelance writing opportunities but have yet to find any that are actually legitimate offers. I'm not sure if locating this kind of employment on the internet is really an effective method of procuring such jobs. However, I have read that it's an excellent idea to submit as many letters to magazines and newspapers in order to establish a body of published work to use as future writing samples for prospective employers.
