clixsense I got the money

I don't know who read my post about check from the clixsense few days ago but I wrote that I got the check and considering the fact that I live in Italy there's no american bank here. So I went to my bank and I gave them the check. I thought they would give me the money but no!!! The lady said that they will put the money on my account but that it's going to take some 3 or 6 months for the money to arrive from America. I really can't believe this. If I send a letter to America it gets there in 3 days so why it takes soooooo much time for the money to get here?

I hope this is a only a begining for you. I hope and pray the God that you receive many more payments like this. But its sad to read that you will receive money only after 3 to 6 months. I really doubt it will take that much time to receive money from US. Any how you broke the ice. Keep us informed about your receipt of money....

First of all Congratulations! for getting cheque, your hardword has given fruits ... enjoy
It is usual to deposit Dollar cheque and your bank will be sending it to America and you will get money in your account. That is real normal practice. For me in India we have to deposit it and it take 21 - 45 days which is normal.
No problem and no worry you will get money in your account.

That has poured cold water on my feet and If mony takes tha long to reach my pocket and this is usally paltry amount os cash, then why should I waste so much time with it?
