Do you bend down to pick up what the vaccum wont? I would have to say sometimes Im lazy and just keep going over it till it finally gets sucked up by the vaccum. Or sometimes it wont and if its not that noticeable I will leave it.LOL But most of the time I will pick it up!I guess its just how lazy Im feeling that day.LOL Lets share.

Ha, ha, I am worse than that. If the vacuum does not pick it up, I will bend over and pick it up to make sure it can come up and then put it back down and continue to run the vacuum cleaner over it again and again. I have went so far as to change the setting of the vacuum cleaner, just to get it to pick up one piece.

I am lucky to have just hardwood floors, so I can not complain. My vacuum can pick up everything.
After vacuuming I do all floor with wet floor cleaner, so it is spotless after my job....but I can be very tired...

If it is too big for the vacuum, then I will pick it up.But it is small enough to go into the vacuum, then I just pull out the hose and vacuum it up with the hose.

When I am vacuuming I am usually trying to avoid running over my toddler who thinks it great fun to run in front of me! Either that or she wants me to hold her so SHE can push the vacuum, which is too heavy for her. So, I have to hold her and help her push at the same time. Fun!
If I can get away with vacuuming on my own, I will bend down and pick up the stuff that doesn't get sucked up.
The last time my husband vacuumed, I emptied out the dirt and one of our daughter's socks was in there! That goes to show that he will vacuum up ANYTHING!

Don't you find that highly annoying, a piece of stubborn dirt that just stays there laughing at you, refusing to be sucked up! No matter how many times you try to dislodge the thing! Grrr yes I bend down to pick it up, cat fur is the worst because depending on your carpet it gets embedded in and it's a nightmare to pick up, sometimes I am on all fours (no jokes!) picking the hairs up using my fingers and the hoover becomes redundant!

I'm telling ya, that cat fur has the gripping power of gorilla glue. lol My kirby even has a hard time picking up the furballs at times.

Yep, I will bend down and pick up what the vacuum misses. I do that also in between vacuuming. It's something I learned from my mother many years ago. Makes me feel like I've done a halfdonkey job if various strings, lint or yarn remains on the floor.

I try to keep going over it again and again with the vacuume to see if it will suck it up! if it doesn't then i'll grumble about it and pick it up. Or i'll get my daughter to bend down and pick it up. lol that's cause i got a big belly with a baby in it and its not so easy to get back up once i bend down there!! lol.

Because I have a dog, I look at the floor before I even bring out the vacuum, and pick up anything big that I see, and I'm talking about stuff besides toys. But when I do vacuum and it doesn't come up, I will go over and over it. Eventually if it isn't picked up, I'll keep going and when I am finished I'll return and pick up whatever wasn't picked up by the vacuum. Wouldn't it be great to have a Roomba?

I'll admit it, I can be downright lazy and just leave it if the vacuum insists on not picking it up. lol Most times I'll pick the darn thing up cause it's usually a furball from one of my cats which can have quite a grip on the carpet no matter how many times I pass the vacuum over it.

If the vacuum sucks up fine, could be the brush roller is worn out. I can rotate the brush roller on my kirby as it wears down so it remains effective and then just replace it when it's too worn to do anything. That's what I love bout my kirby, can replace things on it as they wear out instead of having to buy a whole new vacuum. Now, if they can just get rid of the bags, I would really be a happy camper. lol

Oh I too am lazy and will go over it many times and hope that the vacuum gets it. If it doesn't I do pick it up, but would rather my vacuum do it's job..lol

I'm lazy I keep going over it trying to get the vaccuum to pick it up or I will tell my 4 year old to pick it up and throw it away for me.
I hate to vaccuum in the first place but with a 4 year old in the house the vaccuum comes out several times a day!

OH boy!!! I have to join the lazy club, most of the times I would just go over it again and again until it's picked up LOL I will only bed down to pick it if I have not other choice.
OK, in my defense I have to say that due to a small inner ear problem I tend to sometimes get dizzy when bending down, so I avoid it as much as I can. However I seem to remember that even before that I still tended to expect the vacuum to pick it up itself LOL It's just like.. it's its job right? LOL

I will bend over and pick it up if the vacumn won't do it and the hose won't either. I do have some stuff that just won't come up....I use some special tape in making crafts and the red covering seems to have so much static in it that it's impossible to suck up!

Hello dear TerryZ. We do not have a carpet in our apartment, but tiles instead. Therefore we do not use vacuum machine. We sweep the floor first before mopping the floor every day. My wife usually does this and so does my son. I help sometimes.

HaHaHa, you're so funny...if its not that noticeable I will leave it, lol!!!
I, unfortunately, will pick it up, haha, it's one of my exercises for the day, hahaha.
It makes me feel better if I know I bent a little so I can call it my workout. And, when I'm dusting (yuk) and I have to grab a chair to reach and pull myself up on it, that's another one of my workouts. See, I could have my own video tape and sell it, haha.

I vacuum over everything! I've lost so many things to vacuuming! I have a big shop vac, so I get everything! Including rags, clothes, and other things. If I vacuum the thing up, I don't go get it. Even if it's change, my favorite panties, it doesn't matter! I'm too lazy too! lol.
