Normally I sleep less than 8 hours, 6-7 hours I guess. In the morning I have to wake up early because I have school and in the evening I have to read (I like reading before I sleep) so it took me until midnight or past midnight to finally get some rest. They say it’s good to have exact hours of sleep but I don’t think so, it doesn’t work for me hehehe.. Well I’ve tried over sleeping and it only gave me body aches and headaches. Hehehe.. Over sleeping is like under sleeping.

Normal is whatever is good for a person when they wake up and feel rested. Eight hours is a very decent amount of sleep. I certainly understand about sleep loss after having children.
I sleep about 6 hours a night and sometimes I wake up rested. Not always so later in the day, I might take a nap. I love coffee, soda and tend to drink soda in the evening that is not caffeine free. That doesn't help, I'm sure.

I the last time I can't sleep at night. I stay awake until 5-6 in the morning and then I sleep until 4-5 in the afternoon. I try to go to bed earlier but I can't fall asleep.
So I have to say that I don't sleep 8 hours a night. :D :(

Hardly ever do I get 8 hours. Working full time and college full time...not happening with the whole sleep thing. I'd kill to have 7 or 8 hours of sleep. My mom keeps telling me it's ok because I'm still young, but it sucks that I'm always so tired and I'm 22....

I don't think I've EVER slept 8 hours a night on a regular basis...In fact for many yrs it was normal for me to only sleep 2-4 hours of broken sleep each night and if I dont take my meds I still do that..Even with my medication though I only sleep about 5 or 6 hours and its never straight through (unless I'm sick)

I am lucky to get even seven hours of sleep a night even before I had children. I did get eight hours of sleep but much of it was napping. Sometimes I do catch up, but I do not fall asleep at once even though I do go to bed early enough and I do wake up about three or four to go to the washroom, so I do not get the complete eight hours sleep at night.

Oh, I only end up sleeping for about 6 hours a night. I guess I should really sleep about 8, but I got things to do. I guess, I don't want on my tombstone "Would have got more done, but slept alot."

The doctors say 8 hours is sufficient enough. But I don't know anyone who sleeps 8 hours except my kids. Its hard for me on the weekends cause I work at night and have to be up during the day for the kids. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep. Every now and then I might get 6 and thats a blessing.

I get between 4-6 hours sleep a night. Right now I'm almost 8 months pregnant so I find it hard sleeping at night. Before I had my son, who is now almost 4. I could sleep about 8 hours a night. As long as I get about 5 hours I'm usually pretty good for the day :)
