Does it bother you when your boss is close to stalking you?

I'm not use to having someone bossing me around. I usually do my own stuff at work and when I work, i work hard and smart without any supervision. I recently landed on a job which requires me to work with a team and worst I have my superior. This superior of mine is really getting into my nerves. He is the exact opposite of what i imagine my boss or should i say ideal boss should be. I am ok with him bossing me around but what annoys me is that he is so close to stalking me. What should i do? I don't want to leave yet cause i like the job. I'm getting impatient already. What about you guys does it ever occurred to you?
