I have been at this for 6 months or more. And by saying "this" I mean that I have been trying to make money on the internet. I am getting discouraged by the fact that I cannot earn anything, other than a mere pittance. I have tried almost everything(at least in my mind). I started a discussion a while back and I had recieved some imput on the subject, but mas of today, I have not seen any improvement.
I am trying to make a living(not a huge amount) on the internet. I have fallen for the scams, but I have also gotten some really good businesses! my problem lies with the very good businesses. It does'nt cost very much($5.00 or less) so people think that it is a scam. If I am not asking for "hundreds" it can't be worth the price of salt! that is why I am getting discouraged. What people expect for little, is it can't be worth anything, so it has to be a scam. But if I could get saomeone interested in a business for, say $500.00, then I get a lot of traffic. but when they see that all it cost is $5.00, they don't even look it over. I cannot, in good faith, ever ask for more than the business asked me to pay. I am in a catch 22. Damned if I do and damned if I don't. Peoples expectation of a start up cost is just beyond my belief! Maybe, I should become a "slum lord". Not caring about the condition or cost of a product. Just sell! That's just not me. I can never become what I dislike!(hate is too strong) I, at least, have a conscience!

As one other poster stated, it might be the program you are working with. I have done a few things and while I didn't make money at them, they weren't scams. They just weren't for me. I'm fortunate that I have found something that works for me and I'm doing quite well at it.
As for people not wanting to go with what you have, they may not understand what you are doing. Have you told them what they get for the $5? Or what they need to do to make money? Try changing your tactic and see if you get a better response.
Best of luck to you!

The art of making money online is difficult to predict. The internet is one of the best things that have happened to man. However, while it is very possible to make a lot of money online, the opposite is equally true. My suggestion is that a person who wants to make a living online should have a lion heart, not easily discouraged, discerning and ready to take calculated risks.
Take time to know which businesses online you have mastered and making money on and stick to them while making consistent effort to expand your business base. Be aware that there are more fake businesses online than elsewhere. I think some mistakes may be inevitable. However, one should try to learn from the "masters" who can prove how they are making it online. I wish you the best of luck.

With your age, I'm a bit surprised to know that you have not started your own business when you were still younger. Today, you're desperate to earn money online. You very well know that it takes time. You are talking of a short term goal when you should have thought on the long-term.
But I believe you can still make some money if you are patient and willing to work it out.
