Oh, this was exciting.
A young man dressed in black robbed the cashier, pretended he wanted to pay for something and dashed away with the money.
The police came with two cars. I wonder if they will get him.
The cashier said he made the impression to be on drugs.
Usually nothing happens in my quiet neighborhood.
This was 10 minutes before closing the shop this evening.
I never thought something like that might happen where I live - it was very exciting.

It happens every day in and around the area I live in. I hate it. We live in the country and it still happens here. When we turn the news on, someone is always robbing someone, killing someone or something. It is unreal these days and it is very scary.

Wow... yes, I would think it made the heart beat a bit faster. One thing bothers me though... did nobody in the store try to stop this man? I would very much doubt that he would be armed if he carried out the robbery in that way... but then, I don't suppose people think quickly enough to react immediately to something like that.
Brightest Blessings.

There was just the female cashier and three female customers. Then a guy from the back room dashed after the man who took the money and then the female boss came from the back room and called the police via mobil phone.
The store wanted to close, it was 10 minutes before 9 p.m. on a Friday...

I do not think I would call it exciting. I would call you very lucky though. I hope that your neighborhood goes back to being very quiet and I am sure that the cashier feels the same way.
Where I live used to be very quiet and safe. Now we have shootings and robberies and killings. It is very sad because I grew up not too far from here and I hate living here now.
