I'm not sure I have a best friend at the moment. My most recent best friend and I have sort of grown apart over the past few years, so while I still refer to her as my best friend by habit sometimes, I no longer really feel like she is.
I certainly wouldn't call my husband my best friend, because there are some things I can't talk to him about. It's not his fault or anything, but there are some things I need to talk about that he can't deal with, like parts of my history. So he can't be my best friend.
I had an online friend that I was starting to consider my best friend, and then something came up that he isn't available much anymore. So I don't really think I have one at the moment.

My best friend would also have to be my husband. He's my closest and dearest friend. I tell him everything from my personal feelings to what bugs me. He understands how I feel about certain things from exes to other friends and even family members. I think the reason for this is because I have lost touch with most of my best friends from high school and he took over the role when we started dating and since then he's been my best friend. I believe it helps out our relationship alot to be able to talk freely about things.
