I like "Something's Got to Give" and "Because I Said So" for that sort of film. They both romantic, funny movies with good plots. Great date movies, both!!

I can watch "Dracula" as many times as I have a chance and don't get bored. I also enjoy watching, though I saw it many times before, "High Anxiety". I usually don't watch the same movie again right away. I used to, but I did not feel the same, it was not that exiting any more when I saw it again right away.

hi citrine! ^__^
my latest favorites are I Am Legend which stars Will Smith, National Treasure which stars Nicolas Cage, and Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street which stars Johnny Depp. I Am Legend has some action to it but its more of suspense and drama. National Treasure is definitely an adventure and action movie. Sweeny Todd is a musical-comedy with a lot of blood and gore in it. ^__^
i suggest you watch them all in the big screen. ^__^

There are so many movies that i love for so many different reasons. Love stories, movies that make you laugh, after all laughter is the best medicine.
My overall favourite movie has to be moulin rouge even though it did make me cry at the end.
I love that film as there were elements of surprise in it, i didn't know that Nicole Kidman or Ewan Mcgreggor could sing and they were so good.. Plus it was a lovely story..
Titanic is second on my list due to the effects, the authenticity of the reconstruction of the whole story.
Though that made me cry..
Mrs Doubtfire for laughter is my number one...
So there are just a few of my favourite movies full of laughter and lots of crying...

One movie through which I laughed and cried was "Bruce Almighty." It's a Jim Carey movie and I think he's hilarious most of the time.
Another oldie but goodie with Jim Carey is "Liar Liar."
Have you ever seen "Airplane"? Hilarious.
Jodie Foster was very good in "Silence of the Lambs."
you didn't mention romance as being an interest, so I won't pass on those recommendations.

As Good as it Gets with Jack Nicholas and Holly Hunter -- very funny!
Not x-rated but a tad naughty are Blazing Saddles and Top Secret.
