Do you have a favourite Christmas tradition?

When my daughters were very young, it was really difficult to get them to settle down on Christmas Eve. One year I made an advent wreath, and placed one candle in the wreath each Sunday in Advent. My girls wanted to know when we could light the candles. I told them that on Christmas Eve we would light the candles and leave them lit for 10 minutes or so. After that they could blow them out and it would be bedtime. On Christmas Eve around 7:30 we lit the candles, sat and discussed what they hoped Santa would bring them. After about ten minutes they blew out the candles and went to bed. My girls are now grown up and many things have changed but the candles are still lit on Christmas Eve just before bedtime. Please share your favourite Christmas tradition.
