Do you know someone with Cancer?

My husband passed away 3 weeks ago today from Stage IV Lung Cancer. He was 71 years old. When he was diagnosed in late July, 2007, it had already metasticized to lymph nodes, liver and then the bone. He went thru radiation and chemo but the cancer, once in the lymph nodes makes it very difficult to recover. Ultimately, the lymphatic spread of the lungs took over and was very aggressive. I'm sorry to hear this, I don't personally know anyone with cancer but last year while researching for one of my writing assignments I learned there are a lot of online support groups for people with cancer - possibly one of those could help you if you don't get it here.

My mom lost her battle to cancer last June - she had secondary cancer from her original cancer but the original cancer came back after 5 years & that's what killed her. My husband's uncle also has cancer & hasn't got long to live... to find out more about the cancer, you'd need to know what type it is...My mom had colon cancer & my uncle-in-law has skin cancer

I know someone that has lung cancer and it hurts a lot knowing that there is a good chance that the person is going to die and I hope that someday they can find a cure for it cause so many innocent people in the world die every year because of it.
