For what reason antidepressants are used and why? / myLot

Why you used antidepressants for?? There must be several reasons, let us discuss these reasons in details, huh?? Antidepressants are mainly used for severe and panic attacks and are also used for severe depression.What do you say??

antidepressants are actually prescribed for several reasons. I don't take them but those in my family do. Obviously for depression. Also headaches, seizures, weight loss and other pain due to neurologic disorders.

Well they have more sideeffects causing weight gain and skin problems too.

I am on a mild dose of paxil for anxiety. IT takes the edge off of my anxiety. The only problem that i have with paxil is that i cant sleep when taking it, so i am on a sleeping pill as well.
