I thank those who have prayed for my neighbor in her hour of need. I've been up all night and all day spending most of my time at the hospital with my neighbor, so this is just a quickie.
For those that haven't read my last discussion "The Inevitable Has Happened", my neighbor while out collecting her mail, was hit by a speeding motorist.
The doctors say she is in stable condition, but they are keeping a close watch on her since she has some mild swelling of the brain. She has a broken wrist and both her legs were crushed, it will most likely take several surgeries to save her legs.
After I have gotten some sleep, I will be certain to reply to those who have responded to my last discussion. Many, many thanks for those who are praying for my neighbor. They are greatly appreciated by all her family and myself.

Thanks for your prayers and concern my friend, they are greatly appreciated. The man who did this, was at least smart enough to stay on scene after the accident occurred. He was than arrested and from the papers report is serving jail time until his court hearing.
I too hope that my neighbor recovers more as time goes on, but well right now only time will tell how this is to end. Hoping for the sake of her children, that she survives through this, but the powers that be may have other things in mind for her. So now it's wait and see. Which I think is even more tougher to go through, then witnessing the accident with my own eyes.
I did manage to get a few hours of sleep last night, and may take a short nap here soon like my husband has suggested, if I can that is. Since I'm giving her parents some time with their daughter alone today at the hospital.
Thanks much my friend.

That is horrible thing to have occur to someone. I hope that person a speedy recovery. And peace of mind, for those who tenderly care.. such as yourself.

Thanks for your kind words and prayers, they are greatly appreciated. I believe though, my peace of mind will come after she has awakened and is out of the hospital.
Just how I am though, she's a single mom of three and it will upset me even further if their mom is taken from them in such a horrible fashion.
Thanks again.
