Dear friends, if you are asked to define 'love' in terms of flavour, what will be your flavour? You can imagine it and then come out with your responses. For example, someone may say..that in my imagination love is like an 'orange flavour' to me. For some it may be a 'sweet'. Would like to share your thoughts with me.
For me the flavour of love could be a bitter chocolate.

Have you ever breathed in the 'flavor' of the rain drops soaked in dry, dusty, tired and forlorn earth?
Have you ever felt the distinctive, sweet flavor of milk, baby cream and puking when playing with a baby?
Have you ever felt the warmth of the mother's hand caressing you gently when you need you the most but do not know how to get it?
Have you ever smelt the fumes coming out of the a strong coffee, which apparently you do not like, prepared by the amateurish hands of your love?
These, to me, are the flavors of love, deepak. Eternal and all pervasive.

Hi deepak.....what is bitter chocolate......lol
well if you want us to express love in form of a flavour, then I think I will compare it to water-melon flavour, because when it is very hot and your throat is drying with thirst and you are looking for something other than water to quench your thirst, then you can get real satisfaction by choosing a piece of water melon, because it is red like romance, less sweet so that later you don't feel bitter, cold to give you peace and juicy to quench your thirst and give you full satisfaction. Beside even over eating of watermelon does not cause any harmful effects so you can love as much as you want.......:))...hope you agree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did give people option of fruits by writing "Orange" but looks like ice cream drew more attraction of readers. Anyway I wrote what I felt.......and I am happy that you liked it. Next time you want to quench your thirst, think about my option........:))

Dear! How come your imagination go to such a sweet and delicious reponses....LOl!
Great on your part! I think no one can imagine water-melon flavour as a flavour of love. I really appreciate your choice.
Jo mazza water-melon may hai vo kissi aur may nahi hai.
Sabki alag alag choice ho sakti hai...jo bitter chocolate yaa chocolate pasand kartey hai...uney vo pasand karney do....LOL!

difinetely flavour of pure or dark chocolate. its make me comfort, sweet eventhough little bit bitter in there and if too much to consume, it would make pain in heart and body ;) so, there is should be sweet in love but do not be over sweet cause it would be tend to lie to your partner and if too much close between your partner, when they undeliberatelly said little harsh word, it would be hurted your feeling more although its just words of nothing

I'll say love should be a mix of every thing ..sweet, sour, spice .. so that you will keep guessing what flavour it is!!
It would be better for me if it kept me guessing about its flavour whole of my life.
SO I don't want to define any flavour of it
I can't have it if love is Only sweet or Only sour or Only spice..!!!
hehehe...!!

I would have to say sunshine I know that is not really a flavor but it does invoke an emotional response when I think of what is love, sunshine comes to mind instantly, perhaps because I believe sunshine to me is fresh, clean , life giving, and always changing as time goes by,

Hi Deepak! If love has a flavour i would prefer it to be coffee flavoured. I love coffee especially with chocolate flavoured icecream in it. Try it you would like it too!

I will not exaggerate if I say I love coffee and chocolate, as well. And if (cold) coffee is being offered with chocolate flavoured icecream, it will be like an icing on the cake.
Thanks for your inputs!
Deepak
P.S. - Now have you got it that BR stands for Best Response?

Hey there my friend dpk262006!
What an interesting discussion you have started. Well, for me, I would be a rocky road ice cream. Rocky because that is life practically. We go through the ups and downs in life. Yet after those twists and turns that we encounter, happiness awaits us in any moment in our lives. Rocky, which means many problems yet sweet because love is a really very sweet despite all the obstacles. Cheers!

delicious topic here..
well.. my tongue can never ever deny Vanilla^_^
from ice cream to cakes to drinks.. even lotion, scents, soaps, body wash... i want it all vanilla..
hehehe...
why vanilla?
well, its universal.. it can be mix with all sorts of flavor, it is unique, it does not give allergic effects, it is abundant, it is pleasing to all senses... a very wonderful flavour indeed..
its like love, can be blended... can be creative and vanilla is very addictive, like love..
and like vanilla, i cannot live without love as well..
take care^_^

That's a nice flavour - bitter chocolate. For me, I associate it to durian flavour. We do not know the flavour until we savour it. The taste could be sweet, bitter, bitter sweet, hard and fleshy or even stint to some. It is not the perception but the actual tasting of it that generates the opinion.

i think it's MANGO.. we know that mangoes are sometimes sweet, and sometimes sour.. just like love, there are sweet moments and there are sour moments too.. but either of the too, still many are willing to be in love and taste it..
