another thing for the football folowers to think about.....they say zizu is god!!!(im 1 of them who feels that way)but lately iv been thinkin....what about the likes of kaka, ronaldinho, gerrard, cantana, valeron, mccalester, rui costa and so on....
zizu had the good luck of playin a major part of his carrer in big spending clubs like juve and madrid....which could afford to buy big players....
what about liverpool....?they won the champions league mostly due to gerrards brilliance and heroics in the tournament....ronaldinho also is fortunate to be playin with a group of high quality players in barca!!!but it wasnt him who turned things around 4 the catalan club....the onsong hero would be a certain edgar david who brought them back up 4m a position of 9th in the league to 2nd in 03-02.and that started their revolution!!!cantana too played with a league of extraordinary players in manu...rui costa along with figo had brought portugese football to new heights because of which we now see players like ronaldo and deco(thogh he is a brazillian)entertaining us...
so i need ur opinion....who do u think is the best and why?i still feel its zizu....cant help it....but the cham league goal keeps running in my mind:D

An attacking midfielder, is a central midfielder who is stationed in an advance midfield position, usually behind the strikers. He is typically the offensive pivot of the team, sometimes known in football as"playing in the hole", although this term can also be used to describe a deep-lying centre forward. This specialist midfielder's main role is to create goal-scoring opportunities for his own team. The attacking midfielder is an influential position and requires the player to possess superior vision and technical abilities in terms of passing and most importantly the ability to 'read' the opposing defence in order to deliver a defence-splitting pass for the strikers. Pelé, considered by many fans to be the greatest football player who ever lived, enjoyed great success as an attacking midfielder; one example is his play in leading Brazil to the title in the 1970 World Cup. Juninho Paulista, Ariel Ortega, Ronaldinho, Francesco Totti, Juan Roman Riquelme and Zinedine Zidane are attacking midfielders widely considered to be the best players in the world. Other just as accomplished attacking midfielders include Nedved, Rui Costa, and Kaká. Less accomplished but arguably as talented players of this position include Juninho Pernambucano, Landon Donovan, Paul Scholes, Tomáš Rosický and Robert Pirès.
Although the attacking midfielders and the attacking midfield position is still highly popular amongst football fans and players today, it has received its fair share of criticisms. Many argue that as a result of their relieved defensive responsibilities and lack of instructions, the attacking midfielders tend to be the laziest and most inconsistent players in a team. Many also believe them to be primadonnas, who despite being the focal point in a team, is ultimately rendered useless without the help of team-mates. AMFs are very important to a game and are valuable members needed to set plays and are rightly appreciated by fans. They are usually considered the best and most important player on the team and generally wear the Number 10 shirt as popularized by Diego Maradona. However, Maradona was a central midfielder rather than a specialist attacking midfielder.
