i've decided id like to share a poem i wrote 3 months after i lost grandma...hope you like it
tiggy...
Grandma
?
The breeze rustles through the trees,
The flowers are visited by busy bees,
The birds keep singing their happy song,
The sounds are as beautiful as the day is long.
You chose to live in the country years ago,
Up where the clean water of the Yarra does flow,
You loved to look at ‘your’ mountain from your kitchen window,
The mountain known as Mount Little Joe.
You asked to end up there with grandpa and your dad,
Something we did without feeling too sad,
Your ashes may disappear without a trace,
But your essence will remain at your final resting place.
You touched so many lives with your love,
Your happy outlook was as pure as a white dove,
The fun you saw in life was the best by far,
You will always be remembered…. I love you grandma.

A few months old but still very special, which it seems was also your Grandma. No doubt you miss her still but she is with your grandfather which is what she wanted. Time does not diminish the love you have for someone special, as I know only too well having lost my own mother only a couple of months ago. Well she had been demented for many years and in a sense left us then but she finally succumbed and is now where she wants to be.
A very moving tribute to your Grandma tigrashadow and you are to be congratulated for your effort.
