New myLot feature

United States
January 19, 2008 4:31am CST
Today I received an email notification from my lot listing all the new new discussions posted in the past 24 hours for my interests. This is a a new feature that I really like (for a change) as I usually do not hunt for discussions under my interests as there are too many for each category and the list show just the latest. Do you like this new feature?

I've always signed up to receive e-mail notifications from "discussions my friends started" I really like that feature, I just have to remember to turn it on when I add a new friend. I didn't receive this notice yet!

That is not what I am talking about. I also have my "friends" notifications turned on. This is different (new) just a list of new discussions from your interests NOT just from frds buy anyone who has posted a new discussion on you interests in the past 24 hours. You can also answer them straight from your email.

I knew what you meant! I'm just saying I hadn't received any notices yet about that new feature. Did you sign up for anything to get these interest notifications?

yes, i also noticed about that dear. its called myLot diggest, right? but for me i am not sure that i would like this feature totally caused for me its enough to get notifaction whenever my friend made new topic discussion in there. it would be little bit annoy for me to get up date of my interest everyday from myLot. in my opinion, it would be better if this feature become optional. i mean here it can be turn off if the member not too like to have this feature. what do you think then whiteheather39?

It is called the myLot Digest and I like it. I dont look for what had been posted under my interests so this gives me an idea of whats new and not from just my friends.

Ya I got that too and thought it was a pretty cool thing. That way we don't have to go searching for a discussion because they already let us know of ones out there.

Thank you!! I was beginning to think I had either imagined it was not clear enough in my topic description.

I received that report & found it very interesting. I saw that a friend that is well known to us (he has a dog & looks after his Father) got into the top ten discussions. Actually I recognised quite a few of the My Lotters. I dont know if I have ever been on the top ten. I dont take any notice. I like this feature though.

I know who you mean and there was another person from my friends list who has to be the world's worst speller. LOL. I don't pay any attention to any of the top ten categories.
