How should I care for my laptop battery?

i agree, you shouldnt leave your laptop battery plugged in while you have it connected to the mains. laptop batteries will degrade over time as the chemicals in them lose their effectiveness, the best way to combat this is to charge it to full, drain it right down and repeat. topping it up slightly will only make it die quicker,
