Myspace - Is tom a real person is myspace a scam in a way?

Okay first off im sure you know what myspace is and if you don't its a social network group where people can post and comment on eachothers profiles. It seems that myspace started off with a few members and grew rapidly to the point where almost everybody has a myspace account. For one you need an account to view pictures and to comment on your friend's pages so pretty much every second somebody is signing up on the website to look at profile pictures. But.. Is a myspace profile for real? How do you really know if the friend request you get on myspace is a real person? It's not something you can just not think about because myspace got to the point where kids where getting kidnapped because of some perverts using the website to kidnap kids. It seems that over the years though myspace has cracked down on these myspace perverts and has added more than enough spam security. But all that aside myspace is so addiciting to users that its ranked as the 6th most visited site out of the top ten with yahoo being the first. The reason i said is tom a real person is because people need to realize that myspace is a free site and people who sign up to free sites don't always use their real information but other than that common sense tom is real and had been on tv for creating myspace.com and i'll admit that own a myspace account and make money from it to ;). - Mike
