Why do teachers feel the need to date their students?!

i don't really see it wrong , unless of course you are on highschool. As for college, maybe , wait ,no it seems wrong too. Haha. Well if the teacher sends some hints that he wants to date you, you should talk it out with an authority of the university or the place where you study.

It is pathetic that some teachers who are made to teach moral and societal enthics could subject themself to such an act. Most of all this inhuman act is experience by the females, I think the international community you see it as a concern to protect the rights of our women. Advice to the female and if you have had experience i advice you to inform the school authority. It is terrible what is happening in our schools today.

I think it's totally wrong if the student is underage, but if I had the opportunity to date my English teacher, I would. He's only 24 and very attractive.

maybe the male teachers need to date their students. the female teachers would not to date students. but most of the teachers is gracious,it's not doubtful.

It is, completely and without doubt, for any teacher, male or female, to date students. Does not even matter the age range, such as a college professor dating one of their students. When talking about underage high school and younger, oh h*ll no!! THAT is pedophilia. Such "teachers" need to be locked up, and I am seeing more and more female teachers sexing it up with their young male students. It's all over the news, and it truly sickens me. What you have to ask yourself about this situation is: Why can't that teacher get someone his/her own age??? Why do they target the very children who are supposed to be under their care? Pedophiles. Sickos. Perverts. Even in a college setting, it is unethical for a teacher to date his/her student. I believe that after the class is finished, if there exists an interest, and we're talking *adults* here, then after the semester/quarter is over, should not be a problem. Just my two cents worth here. And I'm prolly older than most of you. That means a h*ll of a lot more life experience than someone who is a child in high school, or even just newly graduated from same.

Really? If that is so, I guess that teacher should be reminded of their sworn code and ethics. I guess it not good to date your student. Goodness, what would be the reactions of the people if they become aware of it.
