How many of you Mylotters have gotten your cell phone bill and thought "how the hell did it get that high". I have at&t and my bill is usally 90 bucks, to me that is a lot considering that I only talk to my hubby most of the time and we are free moile to mobile!

I had the same problem with Nextel a few years. Only talked with my husband using the "free" walkie-talkie feature, and I was still paying $70 a month. I've since switched to Virgin Mobile and while I have to pay for every minute, I have no contract and I pay roughly $10 a month to talk 10-15 minutes a day on average.

I used to do that quite a bit. When I had T-Mobile, I had to change my plan quite a bit. First, I added more minutes because I was using my phone more for work, but then they would pay some of my bill every month. Still, I'd see it regularly hit over $100 over in charges over the beginning of my plan. Now though, my wife and I share a plan and we rarely, if ever, go over.

That's what research and agreements are for. Before you start talking, make sure you actually read what you will be charged on. It humors me how people will go with a service, and just start talking away. Then, when they get the bill, they seem so surprised, and it's like DUH! Next time, make sure you read Everything, because this could have been avoided :/ Don't be afraid to ask questions before buying either. Plus, you're with AT&T, they're infamous for huge bills :P Go to youtube and look for iPhone Bill. To answer your question though, no. I am with Verizon, and limit how much I talk with people out of my service. I actually look up how much it will cost, and get unlimited texting. With this, I have no surprises :D And $90 is a LOT, look at your bill. I'd advise Reading it, seeing what happened, and so you are aware. Don't just throw it away, like most people will do lol. Good luck with lowering your bills. I hate how AT&T works, they are a little weird sometimes. -Chris
