How exciting for you! I have always wanted one. I think I will ask my husband if we can get one done this time. You will have to let us know how you like it. I have heard the details are amazing.

It is soo cool. I had mine done yesterday. We even got to watch her rub her sleepy little eyes. It is really awesome. I highly recommend it. The lab i went to includes it in the "diagnostic" so my insurance paid which totally rocks. When are you due?

I got one picture of my first ultrasound of my first baby... it really is cool... I photocopied it and put it in his album because as we know the pictures from the ultrasound can fade... But the 3d and the 4d ultrasound is very good... you can see your baby, it is colored... unlike the old ultrasound wherein you can only see him/her in a black and white tv screen moving... 3d and 4d is kinda cool...

I never thought about it but I should probably get mine photocopied from my first one too. I also have the vhs tape which vcrs are practically none exsistant anymore. I need to get off my butt and get it transferred that isnt something you want to lose.

When I had my first daughter, the place where they do ultrasounds in this town wouldn't even give you a picture to take home. That was fifteen years ago. I had my second baby over 11 years ago and I did get to keep the ultrasound picture. It was so cool seeing her with her thumb up like she was directing it towards her mouth to suck on it. I have that picture. Of course those were just the old black and white one dimensional slides. They didn't have the 3-D back then. I do think they are cool though.

Those are things you always want to treasure. I was looking at my first daughters pictures from her ultrasound a few days ago and its hard to believe she is as big as she is now. The one thing in the ultrasound pic was her nose that is identical to her now. Its too cute.

I never had one done as this type of ultrasound wasn't available when I was pregnant with my kids. Though I have read a little about it and I think it is really cool that these ultrasounds can show so much detail compared to the old style of ultrasounds. Be sure to post a picture of your baby's ultrasound on here. I'd love to see how it looks. :)

I am going to post them when I get them. It is really convenient because they come on a disk. I just think that the technology is absolutely fascinating. I never had one with my daughter, I had the traditional one. I am hoping we get some really good ones because with the 2-d of this baby we never really got a look at her face.

The 3 and 4 D ultrasounds were not available when I had my children my cousins wife had one and they emailed it to me they are really neat you can actually see your babies features. You can definately tell what you are having now a boy or a girl.
When I had my ultrasound with my youngest she was sucking her thumb in the picture it was really cute.

I got some really cute ones of my first daughter but so far this one has hid her face. I am hoping we can see some good details. I am really excited. I am going to let my daughter go with us. I think she will really enjoy that.
