Can anyone tell me how I go about starting a blog? I have 2 websites I want to promote and having a blog would be a great place to meet people.

I also have two sites and I promote them on different blogs my 2 main blogs are hosted at blogger.com and I've had some pretty good results from them - sometimes I get more traffic to the blogs than I do the web sites. Blogger is pretty easy to work with and you just follow the instructions when you first start.

Could you also tell me how to put a picture on my mylot site. I can't seem to figure it out. It's probably very simple. Thanks,

You also need quality content and enhance your blog to attract readers and perhaps get them to subscribe. Then link your blog to your web sites. My other blog, computer tech links, I connect with "feedburner" (perhaps sign up with them) to allow subscriptions, and to review visitor stats...
