How old were you when you became a grandparent?

My daughter is 19, I'm only 35, so she technically could have made me a grandma, but she is still a virgin, I hope.
My adopted daughter made me a grandma at 33 years old!

I was about 50 years old when the wife of my son gave birth to their twin daughters. I'm already old to have grandchildren. The wife of my older son could not bear a child so I have no grandchildren by them.

I became a grandma at age 50; my grandson is now 2 years old.
