How to earn money over the Internet

Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie when it comes to online earning and how to increase wealth in the internet. Can you make any suggestions or comments as to what is exactly the best way to earn over the internet. One thing is I'm not willing to pay any sites with money, the thing is I'm the one who's going to work my @ss off so why should I pay? So far I've read that blogging was good, however, I'm still trying to think what field must I choose to start my blogging career. Any of you guys have suggestions?
