Winner, still champ, me! Zero polyps. They gave me a drug to make me forget so I don't remember anything. So why did they ask how much anastesia when they were going to give me something to forget everything anyway? He remembered all of his because they didn't give him a drug to forget. But they did tell me later, no polyps. My husband had 2 polyps and the Vets who went in the day he had his done ranged from 2 to 8 polyps. So, I beat all of them. No polyps. So have you had a colonoscopy? If you did, did you have polyps? If so, how many?

I had one 4 yrs ago when I turned 50. I was also polyps free! I remember my visit, in fact, I told the nurse at one point to get out of my way because I couldn't see the picture! I think they went with the least amount of anastesia they could because I had so many problems after my surgery in '98. I didn't have any problems after my colonoscopy.

My surgery was located some what higher on the torso than yours.... I had 2 follow up proceedures. I did all right for the first surgery, I had a few problems after the 2nd, a month later and it was the final one that I had so many problems. So I was glad that I didn't have problems after the colonoscopy or my rotator cuff surgery 3 yrs ago.

In 2001, I had bladder suspension. Yes, I know, with all our surgeries between us, isn't polyp free wonderful?

That's two of us colon that were polyp-free who had operations in 98. I had my left ovary, my uterus, and my gallbladder out all at one time (gastero-interalogist first and then the gynocologist). I will include you under friend. Take care

Great, you deserve an "A." Bet you were relieved. When do you have to return to have it done again? I had my first colonoscopy last March. I don't remember a thing and they put me to sleep. Had a daughter take me because they insisted I couldn't drive myself to and from even though it's a mile from our house. I had 5 polyps and no other issues. They were removed and guess I am good for a couple of more years. The doctor did, however, find a stump. It was the remnant of removing appendix. I have a beautiful photo of it...lol My primary doctor told me not to worry about it and nothing needs to be done. Guess I had a tree removal at some point and they left the stump. It sounds disgusting and it looks disgusting on the photo.

Thank you, thank you for the A. 5 polyps. That's between 2 and 8. My husband watched his being removed. He said they lasso-ed them and pulled them out. You didn't know Gastro-interologists are cowboys, did you? Yes, I'm relieved. No word on when I do it again. Rumors say 10 years if none found, but 3 years if even one found. What did they tell you?

I hope so, but they could forget in 3 to 10 years.

WOO-HOO!! So glad everything is fine! I had 2 tiny ones, the size of seed beads, so they were no big deal. Its a good idea to forget the procedure... the gut is the most sensitive part of the body. People are supposed to moan during abdominal surgery, even when they are way under. Not a thing most people would be happy remembering! As long as you're okay, all else can be immaterial... Whew!

Seed bead sized aren't bad, that's pretty small, now pony bead, that would be big (enter crafting into medical reports, ha, ha). Just now I can't remember much else that he told me either. I'll have to look at the paper he gave me again. Take care

So your friends are as unusual as you are, huh? I have a friend who has one extra bone on one side of his neck. He has to go to a chiropractor for life and then his son inherieted it. It would have to be after a full set of bones and cause everything to go tilt! 10% longer, Nurse told me around 6 feet long. So what's 10 percent of that? 12 x 6 = 72 inches, so 7.2 inches longer, almost another foot. I think she said feet, hope it wasn't yards. Take care

My test included pictures, so I could see what they did. Our friend just had his first colonoscopy... found out his colon is 10% longer than most! They're usually pretty straight forward, but his took a while. He had to go to the hospital to have the top section checked. Interesting bit!!
