Would you forgive, if..................?

.....if you find out that your family were killed by terrorists in cold blood. Perhaps you saw them being slaughtered in front of your own eyes.

It would be very hard for me to forgive and I know that we suppose to forgive.

Never would i have forgived some body who killed my relatives for no reason...let it be a terrorist or a soldier... but i as i said .. in this anger of revenge forming an image of any society is not good...this is how criminals and terrorists are formed

Hmm Maybe over time I would have to forgive them but would take a lot of love and understanding why they did this...I would not want to be in that position to have to see this or feel this due to the fact when someone messes with my family and hurts them or heaven forbid try to kill them I dont think they want me around...with the terroist...i would be at the goverment bedroom door pounding and yelling till they come out and they would hear me ...

I think I would feel intense anger & rage, also of course great pain. As far as forgiveness goes I would like to say yes I would forgive them despite my great pain but I can´t say for sure because I have not been in this situation. I´d like to believe I am strong enough to accept, forgive & move on one day, & I have forgiven a lot of bad things which have happened to me (we all do bad things to one another, in various degrees, throughout our lives, intentional & not) but I can´t say for sure. Forgiving a bad situation can bring closure but the situation you describe is one of the most horrible there is so my answer is... I hope so but who knows.
