PayPal purchase requires a verified account?

does my paypal account need to have the "verified' status in order to make an online purchase?

Nope, I think you don't need a verified status to make online purchases.. The verified status only helps to remove the limit the amount of money you can receive or send as far as I can remember...

Of what I know, you don't need to receive payments.. or anything.. but when purchasing stuff, you do need a verified status I'm not very sure either.
