Hi friends
just wanted to get your opinion
do u recomend and appreciate to start or participate in Discussion for the sake Discussion
to me, to start a discussion is good but to reply the post is important too , as it make it lively and intresting
and people who keep on starting post but never acknowledge ur comments, how u feel about them
i personally dont like it and finally i put them on ignore
Take care

I hate all those discussions for the sake of discussion topics.
I understand that I don't get a comment for all my responses because there's nothing much to comment. One opinion given and it makes sense...there's nothing much to respond besides a 'Thanks for the response' which I think is against the guidelines of myLot.
I usually don't bother when I see a discussion which is obviously just started for the sake of starting one even if the person who started it is on my friend list.

Hi Sviswan
quite wise to do
but my point is that that the fun of discussion is to keep it gooing so more points come out and make it intresting
i really domt like that people only start discussion, then forget what responses they are getting, and go for next lot of discussions. and also dont reply to other discussions
in simple i would like to say i cant go with people who are here only to EARN MONEY
take care and enjoy

Oh...sorry...I misunderstood...I thought you were talking about those discussions that just ask you which colour you like and stuff like that.
OOps....that reminds me that there is one discussion of mine where I have not responded to you...but that was basically because I had nothing much to say once I got your view...it was very clear and I didn't have anything much to respond to so that you could think.
But I usually respond when I need to clarify or respond. But I don't like responding with only a 'Thanks for the response'.
But yes, I have seen discussions where the one who started the discussion NEVER responds to anyone and then it is obvious that they don't care about the discussion but only about making money (which isn't much I must say).

Hi Dear
I totally agree with you .. We should always keep a discussion alive no matter how old it is .. if you are getting responses -- you should always comment back .. it makes it look quite lively ...
For me -- I used to do it earlier
For now -- I don't have much time now but still whenever I get a chance I try to keep my discussion alive as well as comment back to the discussion of my friends ..
Some people are not so much familiar with how things work on mylot .. otherwise they will definitely keep the discussion alive.. I won't like to blame anyone here -- I know people are busy and don't have time that's why they are not able to comment back.

I love exchanging of thoughts and leaving a comment is very important to me..But, I have noticed not everyone observed that so, I just accept the fact that maybe their time here is very limited and they just want to focus in posting one response and end up the conversation!
In my case, i tried hard to leave a comment to the responses given to me, I would not say I am perfect in doing it since I knew that I missed some and only recover after a week or even a month!

Hi cupid,
Actually I am not really particular with it. But in some ways I don't like it too. I like lively discussions but I do comment on issues that would interest me or catches my attention. :)

sometimes I find that there is no topic attracts me,sometimes I am not sure of the real meaning other topics and don't know what to say, then I like to start my own discussions instead.in fact,my English is not good,I always make grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes and sometimes describe my consideration with wrong words, fortunately, there are always many friends who try to understand what I want to express, they often give them good advices to help me,and share their opinions and experience with me,which makes me moved.
so,I often try to comment every response if I have enough time, and sometimes I will response later when I'm busy.by this way,I can also improve my English ability, and try to understand the meaning of discussions started by others and response them.
whatever,as you say, people here is more important. So,enjoy staying here, ignore unhappy things happened here.
all the best!

I don't mind it from time to time. If I can be bothered answering those type of discussions I will, if not then I won't. I can't answer everyone of my friends discussions because I am not online as much as I use to and by the time I am finished with the email notifications, I don't have time to answer any others. Sometimes I don't have anything else to add.

I make it a point not to respond to discussions that are created for the sake of a a discussion or the single penny earned... they tend to be shallow are usually one liners... i love it everytime i respond... the person would comment back... that usually means that the person cares about the discussion he/she started...
So if you will look at the discussions that i started... i comment to mostly all those who respond and i also give them a positive rating even if thier opinion is different from mine...
