I think the song you are looking for is by Captain and Tenille, not sure if there would be a youtube video on it, but you might try looking them up.

There is a Tracy Chapman song with 'baby' in the title - 'baby can I hold you tonight...' I just searched Tracy Chapman and it was one of the first to pop up - it's a really good track.
