I'm just watching the first show in the new series of Nip Tuck. Dr Troy, played by Aussie, Julian McMahon has new teeth and they look awful! He has lost his great looks. They are bright white and too big for his mouth and look so fake. Yuck! I've seen a few celebs do this. How can they get it so wrong? I can understand that these tv celebs want to look their best but they are going overboard with the teeth thing. What do you reckon?

Somebody needs to put a bug in his ear...A bad set of false teeth can make you are break your looks..I have my teeth but i have seen some really bad ones..He may not hnow how bad he looks...They should never be bright white and not to big...

His upper teeth look as if he is wearing a big bright white cover...they don't even look like teeth from the side...they look like something covering his teeth.

They have a new thing out called "snap on's" the stars have been using them for years but they have come to the public eye now and a few people are getting them..What they are is a whole set that just snaps on over your regular teeth, my daughter has those...That is for people that has good teeth but not to pretty,so they snap them over their orginal teeth..You can even eat with them. The first ones they made for my daughter was pretty but they were real big and white, sorta looked like horse teeth ,they were to big,so she took them back and they redid them and now they look good...The dentist told her that he sent them to a cheaper lab,so she gave them back so the dentist sent them to a better lab and they look good now...You can see them on the internet, just look under "snap on teeth....

Eyeeww! Sounds awful. I love that show, haven't seen the new episodes yet, but I'm so glad you gave me this warning. I hate what some people are doing with their teeth these days. That kind of whiteness just isn't natural! Remember black lights, and how they made your teeth look? Reminds me of that. Yuck! And he's so gorgeous! But, I will check it out - don't want to miss the show. And Vanessa Redgrave being in it is INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC for me. I completely adore her. What an inspiration! She's still so beautiful and it doesn't appear that she's had anything done. I love it when women let themselves age without surgically altering their faces. Genevieve Bujold has done this, kept natural, I mean, so has Catherine Deneuve (the worlds most beautiful woman IMO), and I think they're infinitely more attractive than some of those others, eeewww, like Faye Dunaway, for instance. She just looks weird - makes me think of that freak Michael Jackson - she got her lips puffed up first, then she got god knows what else done, and yuck, I hate the way she looks now - I used to think she was so beautiful, but not anymore. I happen to respect my aging face and my lines and gray hairs. I've earned every last one of them, by god. Our faces reflect our lives and character, and I, for one, don't intend to go under any knife! Granted, I use moisturizers, eye creams, night creams, etc, etc, etc, but that's just good sense. Geez, I have gotten off on a tack, haven't I? See what you bring out in me, Tickle, bless your little heart?! You know, we're going to have to find out who has photo-shop or whatever it is. Then we'll all send photos of ourselves to that person and have them make it into one big group photo and we can all get it framed and hang it over our computers so we can look at each other when we talk here. Oooh, I love that idea. We'll have to look into that. God, I've got to stop somewhere..........

Hey, I love that idea. Can we actually do something like that? It would be awesome.

Why not? I don't have photo-shop and don't know much about it, but it seems that pretty much anything can be done with it! If anyone in the group has this capability, could you let the rest of us know? Then we can get our pics chosen, rounded up, 'shopped and voila, instant group picture! Sounds so fun!

I haven't caught a new episode yet but I will tune in to check out this new thing he has about his teeth, I loved him in Charmed and so I followed into watching him on nip/tuck. I do know his hair is totally different then when in Charmed. It doesn't look natural when they have teeth that are too bright and as you say can ruin a persons looks because of it. Maybe it is something they will notice themsleves and change back to the way he was looking. I use teeth whitening tooth paste and maybe a mouthwash sometimes but that is far as I go with the teeth thing. Maybe someone(not me don't have enough guts to tell the man to change)should go to the website page where you can ask questions and talk to the cast and ask him what he was thinking and if he is going to change it back.

I have horrid teeth. They are yellow ( a family trait) and crooked and look awful. I'm very self conscious of them and am embarrassed if people say anything. If I ever had the money I would get them fixed but I guess that will never happen. I couldn't mention something like that to someone. It's his choice. Watching him though, he seems aware of it because he doesn't smile too often and it seems like he's trying to hide them. He looks really different.

I guess it's one of those things that once it's done it's too late to undo. A shame. He's a very good looking man...was.

Hi Ms Tickle! Oh, I do agree with you that there are many celebrities who are really going overboard with their looks especially with the teeth thing. I find them so fake too. I guess, they are too vain. Take care and have a nice day! :)

I've seen a lot of famous people have their teeth 'done' and in several cases I've seen ones that just looked totally fake. I can't understand it except they just think it looks good themselves. I like nice white, clean, teeth but I prefer the real ones and if someone was going to pay the money to have the major overhaul done I would think they would do it gradually so it wasn't so noticable one day bad teeth next day perfect teeth - or anything else for that matter.

I don't know who this person is.. I know what you mean about people that have made their teeth too white etc..it does make them look very foolish! Kinda like how little girls look when they put on Mama's make-up.. xoxoxo
