A new piggy

I got a new piggy,and named her Missy and she is spoiled already.She look like a little prossum to me,when I look at her I laugh.But she is scaring and run everytime I go to pick her up,I got on the 2nd of this month (Jan).She is 4 months old,was in the fish tank by herself,just sitting in the corner of the tank.I had to leave her there over the weekend,because the pet store close up,and I didnt have the money at the time.I pick her up about 5 x's a day.And she is getting use to it.I think she was lonesome in that tank by herself.Well she looked it.Now she got room to run and boy do she,nice big cage. Have anyone ever gotten a piggy that was scare of you?And how long did it take for them to get use to you?

I've had a couple that have come in pretty scared. The time just really depends on the piggie though.
You should get her a friend, but don't support that pet store again if they're keeping them in conditions like that. See if you can find a guinea pig in a rescue or shelter near you.
Guinea pigs are social animals that should always be kept in pairs or groups. Congrats on the new piggie though, hope to hear of another soon!

Ok, Now I see what you are talking about, no I have never had one, no pets for that matter, except a white cat, and her name was princess, and she got hit by a car, and every sice I have never own another pet, that hurt me so bad!
