Ok, first of all I would recommend reading as many books as you can get your hands on. Suggested authors would be Raven Silverwolf, Scott Cunningham, and Raymond Buckland. On the web, check out wicca.com and witchschool.com. wicca.com has lots of available information. witchschool has free classes complete with testing, chat, message boards, and lots of other great features. both are free. hope this is helpful to you, and good luck on your path.

In addition to reading the books, make sure and watch plenty of movies that awaken the majik in your soul. Such movies would be the Harry Potter series, The Chronicles of Narnia, Dungeons and Dragons and The Covenant; there are other movies out there too.

I am a wiccan and I have studied all about wicca alone. When I started in wicca I bought and borrowed books for me to read and study. There are lots of good internet sites that discuss about wicca. You just have to have patience in studying them,It took me years to study it alone. Joining forums and discussions about it will help as well to broaden your knowledge on what others point of view is in regards to wicca. Hope this helps. Ifyou have any questions feel free to leave me a message. Blessed be..

Blessings, I belong to several groups, each somewhat different, but all have given me new understanding and growth. It is hard to find direction when you first begin studying. I have found that by picking one or two things that call to you the most is the best way to begin. Too many times I have met people that expect to have all the answers right away. They think they need every tool and every book. I say start with your heart, look within. Books are great, groups are great too, there are even a few reputable online schools. There are some that aren't. I began with books and went nuts. I needed this one and that one and this person said buy this one. I have loads of books after many years of studying but found that most of what I learned came from looking within and sharing my thoughts and ideals with others. I gained a family. I gained knowledge. I have learned as much about myself as I have the path I chose. This is a journey, an adventure, you will never reach the end because there is always more to learn. If you need some direction into serious studies, give me a shout. I'm always happy to help. Love and light.
