Congratulations. What level did you get attuned to? When you start using any kind of energy healing you open up your chakras and of course one is your brow chakra. When working with clients you can get impressions or images from them. This is something you need to accept but handle carefully as some of them may be sensitive to the client. If you get an impression you should ask the client if they want to hear it. You should make it clear that by no way should the client take this information as direction but as information that may help guide them. Never talk about this impressions without permission first as it may upset the client to hear what you have to say. I am not sure that becoming psychic is what I would call it but if you are sensitive to that kind of energy it will only help it. If you are interested in guidance I would suggest getting a pendulum and learn how to work with it. A clear quartz pendulum is a great place for people to start when learning to use one. I am always willing to help you learn how to use a pendulum and of course I am willing to talk about reiki with you. May blessing and pure light touch your life.

I have eczema from head to toe, it is in my hair, between my toes, up my arms, on my face and pretty much any where else I can get it. Or should I say I used to have it everywhere. Since I have started using Reiki and channeling the healing energy it has cleared up. Now I have a small patch on my left hand and some between my fingers on the right. I do daily treatments on myself and my family as well as the pets. The cool thing about Reiki is that while I am treating someone else I am also getting a treatment because the energy has to go through me to the other person. It is so beautiful to feel and see someone else feel that energy. My husband was a skeptic but on his first treatment he felt the energy in his brain and 2 nights ago he felt it in his jaw where there is an infection due to a broken tooth. A few days ago I felt it in my blood and I felt it flow through my body with my blood just like getting an IV only it started in my heart and flowed out. So cool. IF you would like a distance treatment send my a PM and we can set up a time, but I suggest going for a hands on treatment because it is like nothing else you will ever feel. blessings and ever lasting light.

Go to your local metaphysical shop and ask about reiki masters in your area. Reiki is something passed from master to student so it is very important to find someone that you can spend time with to learn and that is willing to teach at your pace. My sensei is a wonderful woman and a kindred spirit to me so we fit well and work well together. If finding a place to go in person distance courses are available as you can be attuned distantly. If he is interested in distance courses I can give you the information of my sensei.

Thanks, but h wants to find someone local. Here there is not just one of those shops, there are many. Hard to figure out who is really credible. There is one place in the French Quarter we frequent and we really like that owner. Next time we are down there we will ask her. I am pretty sure she doesn't do Reiki, but maybe she knows someone who does.

I can understand wanting the physical connection to the teacher. Any metaphysical shop will be able to help him find a local Master. I strongly suggest researching before he commits to a teacher as prices vary greatly and some people let the power they channel go to their heads so to speak and start acting like they are the person doing the healing and not the means of the healing energy being released to the client. Reiki is not a person healing people it is the universe and God healing through the Reiki practitioner. A humble mind and heart are a must to give a complete healing.

I do yoga also and the idea behind yoga is for a centered mind, body and spirit it is about self centering and healing through motion; becoming a whole person with your physical body being in harmony with the emotional body, the spiritual body and the higher self. Reiki is about self healing and the healing of others through the use of universal energy. It is about learning how to focus and increase the already existing energy that flows through all of us. The beautiful thing about Reiki is that while I am healing someone I am also healing myself as the energy has to flow through me to the other person. As a practitioner it is important for me to ensure that my clients are fully treated so if there is a need for a medical doctor to treat an ailment I will encourage my client to get the medical help as well as continue Reiki treatments. I started this journey due to my own medical reasons and a need to be involved in my own treatment and now I am able to help others also and for me that is a great gift.

Reiki is the ancient art of energy healing. It has been around since time began but was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the nineteenth century Japan. Dr. Usui trained 16 masters and from there the lineage of all Reiki students begins. Anyone can lay their hands on and heal but Reiki is different in that we are attuned to the higher vibrations of the universe which allows us to channel those higher vibrations bringing about a more complete healing. We are not the cause of the vibrations and we do not administer the healing we are the tool, if you will, that brings the healing power of the universe and Spirit (God) to the person being healed. Due to the strength and quality of the energy we can channel we can do distance healing on people. If you ever get a Reiki treatment it is important to find someone that is humble and does not allow the great gift they have been given to cloud their mind. Any person practicing Reiki should understand the energy is not from them, it flows through them from God, the healing comes from God not the person giving the treatment. It is a beautiful gift and one that I am so happy to be allowed to share with others.

Wow! that's great. You must be an extra ordinary person if you can do that. I think only few people can do and practice Reike coz it requires strong faith, pure spirit, heart and body. Thank you for giving this information about Reiki.
