Alright musicians! There are many brands of guitars out there, but the most popular brands that most musicians use is the Fender, Gibson, & Ibanez. I will have to go with fender as 1# because of an inspirational video I viewed on their website called Making History, or something like that. I also own a red fender stratocoaster.
So in order from most favorite to least favorite, heres mine:
1.Fender (Awesome sounding guitar)
2.Gibson
3.Ibanez (Although they come in sleek colors, the sound isn't what I'm looking for.)
So what's your opinion?!

Well for an electric guitar I would have to say Fender Strat. I myself prefer to play acoustics. I borrowed a Fender Strat from a friend of mine and I didn't like playing it, it was heavy, and I just didn't like it. Besides for the kind of music I play acoustic sounds better. I play an alvarez, sounds really good and plays just as good as a Gibson or Martin and about 3 times less on the price. What do you mean the sound isn't what your looking for? thats what its all about...you can have the best looking guitar out there, but if it sounds like crap it isn't worth much to me. But thats my opinion...have a good day...

Well, I definitely agree with that last sentence. I really don't see the need to buy an expensive guitar worth over $1000, especially if I don't like the sound. It's all about how the guitar produces music to my ears.
I love the sound of Fender guitars. They may not have the looks, but a Fender is a versatile guitar, able to play many different genres of music!
Thanks for your post!

I'm a bass player and i don't exactly say fender is good (may be bass is different). I think there is no particular brand that is outstanding. beacause of the many factors that need to be considered.
1. your choice of sound
2. your feel of the neck
3. the guitar's respond to a particular effects, amps, and of the likes.
4. balance
5. The model
6. where it is crafted
7. The looks
8. And so many other reasons
maybe fender may have monopolized the guitar world of the past but now there are so many beautiful and good brands out there.
I can say we can not tell it always is subjective to the one who will be playing.

To me there is no better, there is just different!
I have played many Fenders, and many Gibsons, and Many Ibanez's, and I have an Ibanez now, that plays every bit as good as The high priced guitars!
It's how you play it that counts and makes the difference!
