Hiding my emotions...this is one is more difficult for me. When I am angry and sad, it is shown on my face and expressions and body language, so its hard for me to hide what I feel. The same when I am happy, it is readily seem on my expression and body language.

Hello dear humbleme. I think that both are not difficult for me if I want to hide. But I do not often hide my emotions if I think that it is necessary for me to express though sometimes I do.

I try to hide my emotions sometimes, especially when I do not want certain others to know I'm bothered or upset by something, but, quite often I am unable to do so successfully.
Plus, I do not believe that hiding your emotions is really the healthy way to deal with them. I always think it's better to let them out and allow the healing to begin, but, then again, I also think that there are people out there, who, if they see / know this, will not look at you quite the same anymore.

Personally I have always found hiding my emotions to be very difficult for me, my emotions are easily shown either by my facial expressions or through my voice which will shudder and stutter when I get upset. I am not a good card player and my face tells all, if I am angry I will show it, if I am upset then I will show it, it's all in the body language too. I can never master the talent of being able to hide my feelings and that is a curse for me.

Hello wolfie34,Thanks for the response,I agree with you its always better to show the real emotions and also if it accompanies with the real reasons its better to understand.I know my Gf for around ten years and till now I dont understand her mystery behind sudden bursting of laughter or
tears with out any visible cause lol, I can bet she is absolutely normal mentally, this is just not with her alone
I have seen with many women and I really fail to get their
wavelength that time to realise the real cause, it will be better for us guys to understand if they kindly utter the reason behind their emotional outburts lol

I have a terrible time hiding my emotions. I don't even try. I get myself in trouble for making scenes. Yeah, I suppose I have anger management issues. I prefer to think that I have controlling nature and don't like it when things don't go my way, or go as planned/scheduled. And even when watching television my daughter will inevitably turn to me and say, "Why are you crying?" when she sees scenes where people are crying - like last week's The Biggest Loser. LOL!
Heck, we women are an emotional bunch!

I cannot hide my emotions well at all, I cannot even conceal them just a little. They are worn in my face and acted out in my body-language. I was told I do 'wear my heart on my sleeve', therefore my emotions are always up front and center !

Hello there, I hardly hide my emotions as I am not good at hiding. Instead I always show my emotions regardless good or bad. Especially while reading a story or watching a sad movie, my tears just couldn’t stop running across my face. In the mean time, if something is funny, I will laugh out loud.

Hiding my emotions are much more difficult for me. Lately since the serious earthquake disaster happened in my country, I feel very sad to it. And sometimes I am tearful and I cry because of it. I try not to let others to see I am crying.

I have more difficulty in hiding my emotions because I'm a very transparent person...

People can always tell what emotion I am in. I am a very expressive person. I talk with my hands. I am a very happy person and people have often commented to me that I always have a smile on my face. The few times that I have gotten angry they also know that I am. I get dark eyes and I have been told that they know I am mad just by the way I walk. I am not one who can hide my emotions.
