MySpace Vs. Facebook?

Which do you prefer and why? Personally, I like Facebook better. The design and layout are more aesthetically pleasing to me. The features are easier to use and aren't hidden by a bunch of ads. Plus, MySpace is owned by Rupert Murdoch, so that's reason enough for me to stay away.

Facebook all the way. I have both, but Facebook gets used daily while the Myspace gets checked only once every couple months. I just find Facebook easier to navigate. Plus, I prefer seeing people's real names rather than whatever stupid username they decided to make up.
Overall I guess my teeling is that Facebook is more about who a person is while Myspace is about who they are trying to portray themself as.

I am the same way. I use Facebook almost daily to see what my friends are up to. But Myspace is just so ugly and has so many things going on that its hard to keep track of your friends, especially when so many bands, strangers, spammers are trying to add you as a friend each day. It becomes a hassle when you keep getting friend invites from people you don't know!
I am in a band, and use MySpace for music purposes only and Facebook for personal use.

I used to like Myspace more, but now facebook is a lot more fun, it has ways to keep you occupied, a lot more than Myspace does so I've been spending more time on there. I think Myspace has tried to keep up but they're falling behind in what's fun and what keeps people happy and busy with their site.

I personally like myspace better, I have used it longer and find it to meet my need of a site.
