why we celebrate in the end of the year?

today,i'm here and i have a question ,it is : why we celebrate in the end of the year?
for me if we are so wise we don't have to celebrate,because the end of the year it means for me that one year from my life has just left,and my end is going to be near
i think we should celebrate when we help other people
we enjoy ourselves when we help them
we should enjoy our selves when we live in peace?
me i'm enjoying my selves and an other is fighting to stay alife
me i celebrate and my neihgbours is trying to find something to eat it
do you agree with me??

it depend to the people my friend, some of them celebrate because the whole year in thier life it become good, health ect. and they need to face a new year again. so much better to celebrate in the end of the year bacuase we dont know what will happen to us on next year.:)

I think a lot of people like to celebrate the new year because they like to socialize and party. Look at the number of things people will celebrate; birthdays, anniversary's, graduations, job promotions(?), winning the lottery, etc. The New Year gives people another reason to have parties.
