Open or Closed Doors?

We keep our doors open for the most part. The kids will close their bedroom doors when they have friends over and don't want to be disturbed. My boyfriend and I close our bedroom door sometimes in the middle of the night ;) and he closes the bathroom door when he's in it. I prefer the doors to be open at night so that I can hear my daughters if there is a problem or emergency. I feel that if doors are closed, you are hiding something

I close my son's bedroom door when he is sleeping, then I open it when we go to bed. I have to close it because our home is very small and he wouldn't be able to sleep. I close the bathroom door to keep him out of there, but not usually when I am in there. I also close it when we have company- which is hardly ever.

Our house is an old & drafty building. In winter months most of the doors are closed as it helps keep each room warmer.

In my home it's just my 4 1/2 yo son and I ...so the doors stay open mostly so I can still hear what he's up to..I dream of the day I can have a private bathroom break,lol!!

most doors are open, during no. 2, bathroom doors are closed for privacy matters. beyond that, they are open.

majority of the time all doors are open. They only time they are closed would be if my husband and I are doing something. (use your imagination ;)) and I close the bathroom door when i'm taking a bath for some alone time.
