I have seen this movie like about 100 times and can still watch it like I've never watched it. How many times have you watched it? Would you do anything like what Julia Roberts does for her best friend who she is also crazy about??

i've seen it numerous times but failed to count. it's actually a very good bitter sweet movie. it's also very realistic and very unlike those fairy-tale-happy-ending-sh*t

yes and the idea of having a gay friend who stands by you no matter what added a great impact in the story...

i forgot how many times i've seen this flick but it doesn't fail to make me cry. especially the part where julia and her best friend was dancing and he was singing "the way you look tonight" it makes me feel that yes, in reality there are times where you cannot tell someone how much you love that person and you just have to keep it for yourself because you just wish for that person's happiness. and you have to let go even if it means not wishing happiness for yourself.

I love this movie and I think I must have burned out my DVD copy of it. I don't think I've watched it 100 times like you, but maybe around 98 times...LOL! This situation has happened to me. As a matter of fact, after we watched the movie, we made the same pact. But over time, we just became better friends and stayed platonic. Just goes to show you, movies are just that - movies not reality.

I love this movie. I just saw it a while ago and it still makes me smile. I'll probably do the admitting love part but the email part--no. It is a lot more rewarding to know that you were chosen because of you and not because you came up with some scheme. But you have to forgive her, bestfriends can do crazy stuff once they cross that line,
