Know a way to eat lunch for $5 a week?

Recently my office relocated to a new building, and with the new building came new, higher prices. The average lunch in the surrounding area is between $7 and $13 a day. That is quite high from where we used to be, average was around $5. Recently I have started traveling to nearby communities where I can get dollar menu items at the fast food chains. My quest is to see if I bring lunch back and assuming I get water from the cooler for hydration, if I can find enough variety to eat for $5 a week. I know of the following that have dollar menu items, let me know if you know any others: McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's.

Taco Bell has a menu that has things for 99 cents - $1.29 and some subway stores offer a 6 inch $1.99 different sub each day of the work week. But aside from that I think you got the list pretty much covered.

It depends on where you live. What is popular in one area might not something that they have were you live. Like with Jack n the box that is popular in some cities in california but in cincinnati oh we dont have that.

One way would be to make your lunch at home to take to work. I guarantee that you should be able to make as good a lunch for two or three dollars (and probably a healthier one, too!)
