1. Put them in the bank or somewhat similar to that.
2. Excess coins go into the piggy bank.
3. Set goals for each savings like what is the purpose of the savings.
4. Make a list of budget and be sure to stick with it.
5. Reduce or eliminate a bad habit/hobbies or subscriptions.
6. Sell your unused/old stuff.
7. Start a new hobby, something that will help you save money as well.
8. Ask for a raise if you are employed.
9. Go get a 2nd job like in here (MyLot)
10. Consult those whom you see are capable of saving.
11. Join friends who wants to save as well.
If you can add more, share it. :)

Here's a good one: Don't overeat. Not only will you avoid obesity and other health problems, you get to save money as well!
Also, here in my country there are junk shops that will buy the plastic, paper, and metal portions of your trash. Not only are you protecting the environment, you can earn cash as well!

If you are also in the Philippines, they buy bottles as well, of course those that aren't broken. I once sold all the metal, plastic craps and bottles from my house. I got enough cash to use for 1 month's worth of food. Ü I am also planning to sell some of my old but useful things that I don't really need. Thanks for the tip!Ü

Putting your money in the bank is not the best choice. Considering the inflation rate, your money will depreciate, too. Plus, you still need to pay the government with 12% tax.
If you want to grow your money, put it in other avenues where it will earn at least 10% per annum and not the 1% in your bank account!

1. i ususally save coins up and bag them into denominators, that way i am not tempted to spend them, because if i put them into the bank i could quite easily go to the hole in the wall and withdraw a nice new note.
2. dont get in the car and go around the corner to the store just cause you need some bread, i make my own for a fraction of the price and it tastes nicer.
3. only use the car if you really really have to, you save on gas then.
4. dont take out more money than you need from a cash machine.
5. make your own pizzas and get the kids involved, its fun and also saves you money.
6. turn your computer off at night or put it on standby, reduces your electricity bill.
7. turn all lights off at night, except if youre a scaredie cat like me and has only the hall light on.
8. charge your cell phone in your car on the way to work, the electric from your car doesnt cost anything.
9. shop once a month and have a list fully prepared, otherwise if you did it weekly you could forget something and keep going out, thus buying more stuff you dont need or do already have but forgot you have it.
10. dont use a tumble dryer, it kills your electric bill, i use airers, most people say they take too long not in my experience.
11. dont get a cell phone on subscription, they are a rip off, go for payt tarrif as they always have deals, vodafone are offering for you and four others the chance to talk for an hour at a time as long you put the phone down before the hour for free. this lasts 24/7 all day as long as you hang up before the hours up.
you pay £7 per month and all five of you can ring eachother for free its brilliant.
12. print your own photos on your printer, much cheaper depending on the printer you own.
13. look for stores with deals like buy one get one free...etc
14. go on freecycle.org for anything that you want, including cookers, washing machines, furniture, and other smaller items.the stuff that people put on there have to be free to the other person.
and if you end up with stuff that people give you, you can do a garage sale.
i hope these helped!
