How do you self publish or find someone to publish your books

I have wrote a book it is half truth some not truth. I am looking to get it publisted. It is over 100 pages long. And i was told by over 50 people that if i got it published that they would stand in linke just to get my books. So if anyone could help me out that would be wonderful. The self publishing angle has always perplexed me. It is risky, but I guess it is worth it if you can sell the book. I had an agent, who did not get my book published...so I guess it's a toss up. If you want to get published bad enough, you do what you have to do. I didn't feel that motivated to dump my own money into the book. It's a very risky proposition. Good luck.

I dont know which i want to do. To get agent and all that stuff will cost pretty penny and then if they wont take your book your out that money but if they do then you are in the money lol so I am not s ure what to do Which do you think wold be best?

ok thanks for the help everyone I hope this works out though would be wonderful to get paid for my hard work i want it out in stores though i dont think lulu.com does hat much do they

There is so much information about this on the internet that I'm sure you will be able to find some good answers there. I've never been into writing so I can't give you anything to help you myself. Just make sure you don't get yourself roped into something that will cost you money. There is a lot of free information and help out there it just takes a lot of research. Good luck!

PLEASE whatever you do do NOT pay money to get your book published!!!!@!!!!
Send your book to several traditional publishing companies. Okay? odds are that one of them will want it. You and the publishing company will sign a contract, they'll publish it, the book wil; be sold (hopefully) and you get the royalties.
If you pay them, I swear you'll be sorry for it.
