its true! but i prefer to touch their lives.
Being a teacher you must learn to Touch their live and to inspire them also. Through this you can touch their future. Weather you like it or not you are responsible for molding them to become a better person.

I agree with you sirraps.But i think sometimes it is too difficult to do things as inspiring the students and so on.Some students in my class always do as willings,such as sleeping in class.(sometimes they go to bed very late at night).can you tell me how to inspire them?

I am a retired teacher.
It is very good to be a teacher.
There are many ways of helping others.
An example:-

Which age group are you teaching? What are your views on Ecological Theory? Is the study of Human Development important to you? In my opinion it is, You might think that i am wierd but I definately not. i just know a lot on these subjects because I just finished a report on it for the university of cincinnati fopr my mother. Do you have a degree in Teachering? If so what school did you attend? college to be more desriptive!

Now that I'm teaching in China, I know this to be absolutely true. When I see how hard these students are working to understand English, I realize that they are the ones who will lead the world when their time comes. Even though my English teachers didn't inspire me, my French teachers did and they put me forward to lead the next future. I can't imagine any other career I would want to be doing at this point.
