if you became famous would the attention bother you?

you've made it, you have released a hit record or movie or been made famous through some other avenue, you've been recognised for something in your life that you have achieved. now.........flash....hello.....can i have your autograph......ring ring.........ding dong. would it drive you up the wall all the attention you get because you are famous? you wouldnt be able to go anywhere or do anything without a photographer after you, which usually come in packs. you could be doing your shopping and have to sign 30 autographs before you get to the checkout. your manager is on the phone every two minutes saying he/she has booked you in for a guest appearance on some show or venue. is the money and recognition worth all this aggrevation?

Yes, I do believe it would bother me. Not only am I shy, but I'd hate to have my every action looked over. If I happened to have a bad day and wasn't perfectly pleasant to every total stranger, it would be all over the internet about what a rude person I am. There'd be pictures any time I didn't look absolutely perfect. Any mistakes would be brought up again and again. And, it would be difficult to know who my friends are.

thats what gets to me, not everyone is perfect and papers and magazines are interested in what famous people wear, where they eat, if they have cellulite, what they do when they go on holiday. no privacy at all, and the media treat famous people as if they do things wrong, when in fact they are like every one else.

I think I'd go nuts! I feel for a lot of celebrities, but I am amazed by the ones who keep it together and use their fame for the greater good! Cheers, Hillarie

i guess so because i'm a private person and very loner and i don't think i will be liking the attention of the crowd. if it's just signing an autograph, there would be no problem to that but answering questions is a big deal to me. i don't like being ask blatantly hehehe..

I think in the beginning I would enjoy the attention and the money. But after awhile, I think it would drive me crazy. You would have no life and absolutely no privacy. I love my privacy!

The more money, the more famous, the more reputation you build and the more attention you draw is like a stampede of bulls coming at you. Just think about how every famous had to make it where they are today. For the time and effort they put in whether they want to be an actor, actress or music artists - these people sit down to make a layout of goals and possibly dreams where they want to be. Of course it is tough because for one they market themselves in the industry they get themselves into. And of course before they start getting the money or shoot for fame, they have to be sign a contract for how many years depending on what movie studio they join or record label company they join. Now I've watched on TV, read magazines and books about famous people and what they go through in an everyday life. Take for example movie actors/actresses - they get paid big money, millions all depending how successful the movie they made or even how bad a movie they made. Same goes for a music artist on how successful their album has become marketing it on the shelves for someone to buy them and so on. Most of these people have to live their everyday lives without privacy. Why? Well for one the media and the paparazzi. For so many camera's, news casters, photographers just coming up to them wanting a shot, asking questions that involve rumors and then what's even worse is when they get pictured out of nowhere and it hits the news stands, public places on magazines - of course celebrity rumors attract more attention than a person wanting hot cakes with maple syrup on breakfast. Now of course celebrities have fans, when they walk the red carpet or just hang out like in Hollywood, Los Angeles and especially New York - there will be fans asking for autographs - there are those that will charge people for autographs as well. Now that's ok and all, but sometimes it does cross the line for what people do wanting to get the attention from celebs. Now if I were a famous musician or celebrity - it's hard to say if the attention would bother me or not. Most of the time if the media was coming at me then yes that part of annoy me and bother me. But for fans that would want autographs now that boosts points and charisma. Then it again it is always to keep a low profile and be humble

Hi snoopypoos, it is quite thrilling to be the famous limelight and always be surrounded wherever I go. At the beginning I might feel proud and satisfied about the achievement but after longer time I might realized that I have sacrificed lots of freedom and privacy which are quite essential for the peaceful life. I will always expose to the risk of being spied everywhere. So I rather prefer to lead a peaceful life and be an ordinary person.

I don't think I could handle it. Especially as crazy and aggressive as the photographers are getting. Ofcourse they are worse with the more high profile actresses and actors. I don't like being the center of attention. I didn't even want to be the center of attention at my wedding, we went to a JP instead of having a traditional wedding.

I think being in the spotlight would defintely be a bother to me mainly becuase of media and the paparazzi. The main thing for me is invasion of privacy and how everything i do would be known throughout the world. Even if one thing was out of line, it would most likely be blown out of proportion by the media and portrayed as something it isnt. That would be my biggest problem. I wouldn't mind the fans :P.

i thing the attention would bother me, because i cant stand it when the media gets deep into the famous people private lives now. i wouldnt want them to know every little detail about me. the media feels they are entitled to know every thing.
